Testing Apparatus Journal: Building a testing apparatus for Rover wheel design.

Wondering about a potential problem with the driving control. With the Swedish wheel design the motor have to have a continuous range of varying rpm to facilitate motion in 3 directions. So at some points the motor will have to travel extremely slow. Pushing a 1000+ lb table will require a lot of torque. My first thought was to use brushless motors for this since supposedly their torque does not change that much by their speed. I have an inquiry to Bodine motors currently to ask this question: how slow can you go?

Thanks Daniel.
